Planning a Wedding with Scrum

Now that I have learned more about Scrum and Agile from my new position, I thought I’d put it to good use. Shane proposed back in December 2009 and we spent most of April and May visiting different venues. We saw 36 venues until we found the one. Back in May we booked the Overbrook Golf Club for May 21, 2011. It is a gorgeous venue and they will allow us to bring Bailey! There is so much planning to do. After much discussion it seems the most logical thing to do is to plan this wedding using Scrum. We will take small portions of the wedding at a time and complete that portion before moving on to something else. And there is a lot to think of, budget, flowers, dresses and tuxes, bridesmaids, groomsmen, speeches, the ceremony, the priest and rabbi, musicians, singers, readers, the DJ, printed materials, photography, videography, hotels, transportation, the honeymoon, oh and the timing. So many things to think of! Thank God we still have some time.
