Shane Finkel, SPC6, CSP-SM, CSP-PO, CSM, CSPO, PMP, ICP-ATF, ICP-ACC, LSSYB

Shane has worked as an Executive Vice President and Head of Agile Transformation, Director, Agile Coach, Scrum Master, Senior Program and Project Manager, and IT Manager.  He holds the Scaled Program Consultant (SPC6) certification from Scaled Agile, Inc., Certified Scrum Professional - ScrumMaster (CSP-SM) and Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSP-PO) certifications from the Scrum Alliance, Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute, and is an ICAgile Certified Professional in Agile Team Facilitiation (ICP-ATF) and Agile Coaching (ICP-ACC).  Shane has over 26 years of diverse industry experience, 21 years of management experience and dual Bachelor degrees in MIS and Finance from Drexel University. Shane possesses strong knowledge of and practical experience in utilizing various project management and software development methodologies, including the PMBOK, PRINCE2, agile/Scrum (since 2007), and waterfall.  Shane has proven experience successfully managing multiple, complex, and international programs with up to 200 resources and budgets exceeding $100MM, software/web development and infrastructure projects from inception to completion, in the full SDLC/PLC, managing scope, budget, and timeline to successfully complete projects on time and budget. He is highly skilled at creating, assessing, and optimizing project management, agile and Scrum processes, tools, systems, and PMO and Scrum maturity, and establishing PMOs and Scrum frameworks within any sized organization. Shane possesses vast work experience with over 40 employers in various industries including, non-profits, education, energy, healthcare, pharma, large insurance payers, commercial insurance, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, retail, publishing, entertainment, telecom, cable, video, portals, manufacturing, marketing, banking, financial investments, chemicals, infrastructure, consulting, software and web development projects.  Because of this experience, he understands the pain points of many industries and knows the particular nuances and challenges that clients and students face.

Shane is also proud to be an adjunct faculty member of Drexel University, where he teaches Agile and Scrum courses through the Goodwin College of Professional Studies.

Shane is the co-founder and co-organizer of Delaware Valley Agile, a non-profit user community of over 800 Agile practitioners and enthusiasts from the greater Philadelphia metropolitan area, southern New Jersey, northern Delaware, and parts of Maryland.

When Shane is not coaching and instructing agile and Scrum to students and clients, he volunteers on the Fundraising Committee with the Pet Adoption and Lifecare Society, PALS.  He also enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, taking cruises, weekends at the Jersey shore and he is an avid reader and movie watcher.

Jennifer McMaster, PhD-ABD, MBA, SPC5, CSP-SM, CSP-PO, CSM, CSPO, SA, ICP-ATF, ICP-ACC

Jennifer McMaster has worked as a Senior Director, Agile Coach, Scrum Master, Product Owner, and Senior Program and Project Manager.  She holds the Scaled Program Consultant (SPC5) and SAFe Agilist (SA) certifications from Scaled Agile, Inc., Certified Scrum Professional - ScrumMaster (CSP-SM), Certified Scrum Professional - Product Owner (CSP-PO), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), and Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certifications from the Scrum Alliance, and is an ICAgile Certified Professional in Agile Team Facilitiation (ICP-ATF) and Agile Coaching (ICP-ACC).  Jennifer has over 25 years of diverse industry experience and 15 years of management experience.  She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Management and an MBA in Healthcare Administration from Eastern University.  Jennifer has passed her qualifying examinations and is currently an all but dissertation (ABD) candidate at Rutgers University completing a PhD in Biomedical Informatics.  For her dissertation she has created a healthcare app in clinical trials to understand, study, prevent, and treat substance use disorder of opioids.

Jennifer started her career as a medical assistant in a Dermatology office at Riddle Memorial Hospital and has worked her way up to Director of Agile Program and Project Management for a boutique consulting company.  She has proven experience successfully managing multiple, complex, and international projects with up to 100 resources and budgets exceeding $20MM.  Jennifer’s work experience has been in non-profits, education, healthcare, pharma, consulting, software, web development and infrastructure projects from inception to completion.  She has experience in developing and implementing electronic medical records and medical devices, hospital administration, working with large healthcare payers and pharmaceutical consulting and marketing.  Jennifer began working with Agile and Scrum in 2010, when she worked at Olympus America developing electronic medical software to complement Olympus' line of GI products and scopes.

Jennifer is also the co-founder and co-organizer of Delaware Valley Agile, where she enjoys meeting and mentoring Agile practitioners and enthusiasts.

When she is not busy with Agile coaching and the business operations of Agile Aces, Jennifer volunteers with Rutgers University School of Health Related Professions Student Government Association as Fundraising Chair.  She also volunteers on the Fundraising Committee with the Pet Adoption and Lifecare Society, PALS.  Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, weekends at the Jersey shore, boating and she enjoys writing short stories and children’s books.  Jennifer has also started work on writing a handbook for Agile coaches.

Fernando Barrancos, MBA, PMP, PMI-ACP, SPC, SA, CSP, ICP-ACC, ICP-ATF

Fernando M. Barrancos is an Agile and SAFe Consultant with extensive experience leading global IT/IS projects, programs, and process improvement initiatives for Fortune 100 companies. For over 20 years he has been leading global IT initiatives in the Pharmaceutical and Finance industries, where he managed an international IT Project Portfolio, established PMO processes and led global IT programs.
After becoming certified as ScrumMaster by Jeff Sutherland in 2008, he pioneered Agile practices in two large corporations in the roles of ScrumMaster and Product Owner where he experienced first hand an incredible increase in employee engagement, product quality, and productivity. Following these initial successes, he found a passion for helping enterprises and teams adopt an agile mindset and tailor their processes to deliver the best quality and value in the shortest sustainable lead time to improve business outcome.
Fernando has a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and a masters degree in Business Administration, plus advanced certificates in Project Management from New York University (NYU) and Management and Leadership from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT-Sloan). He holds a variety of industry-recognized certifications, including SAFe® 5 Certified Program Consultant (SPC5), SAFe® 5 Certified Agilist (SA), ICAgile Certified Professional - Agile Coaching (ICP-ACC) and Agile Team Facilitation (ICP-ATF), Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), Certified Scrum Professional® (CSP), SCRUM Alliance, ASQ Six Sigma Green Belt, Lean and Design for Six Sigma, and Project Management Professional (PMP).
He is currently an Agile consultant and trainer and lives in New Jersey. When he is not experimenting with new technologies and DevOps tools, he spends his weekends hiking with his family and applying continuous improvement techniques to grilling the best barbecues for his friends.
