Our Agile and Scrum approach for our non-profit fundraising project is doing really well! Our development team is comprised of volunteers (as are we all). Frequent collaboration among our team and in between our team and the ScrumMaster, myself and our Product Owner, has helped tremendously, as delivering each fundraising sprint is key towards the overall success of our fundraising event next month.

If we tried to implement this using a waterfall approach, I’m confident that we would not have been nearly as successful. Our Sprint Retrospective meetings have allowed us to make improvements to the ways in which we complete our fundraising activities (e.g. how to bring on new sponsors and donors, how to maintain existing sponsors and donors, targeting a variety of items to be donated for our auction to ensure a good representation (and interest from those bidding on our auctioned items).
