The Minor Leagues

We’re doing some interesting projects for a number of telecom companies. Basically, the company I work for specializes in Video On Demand technology. If you’ve ever turned your cable box on and saw the nice navigable menus, my current company designs that interface. I convinced the Director of our group that we should be using Agile and Scrum instead of waterfall, especially given their demands for high quality and the fact that they already collaborate with us on a frequent basis. The quality of our releases has definitely improved since we started using Agile. We don’t waste as much time or money putting out releases, because we’re soliciting our clients’ feedback before and at the time of each two week sprint and ensuring that we are on the same page in terms of their expectations.
