I love this time of year. I mean love it. Autumn in all its glory, jeans, sweatshirts, sweaters, boots, leaves, changing colors, scarecrows, corn mazes, pumpkins, campfires, roasting marshmallows. Oh and I love camping! This is also my favorite time of year for camping. There is just something about being in the wilderness and sitting by a campfire. The crunch of the leaves as you walks and there’s my birthday of course!
Things are going well at the new job. I really can see how Scrum is the way to go for any project. Our stakeholders, being the doctors, are very happy with all the progress we have made. And it gives the Dev Team a feeling of pride that we are able to produce reliable, solid, working menus for them. Along this journey I have been learning SQL, which is challenging itself, but I have a great mentor and a few good books to help me. Our team has really bonded and we have entered Tuckman’s performing phase where the team has normalized for a while and we has progressed to the most productive stage. This is when the constructive work really starts to exhibit itself. And we are working as a well-oiled machine.
