Did I tell you all I won a scholarship for my PhD?  5K and a trip to the HIMSS Convention in Orlando! I am so honored!

Ahhh Florida…what wonderful weather!!! It was 82 degrees and sunny for our entire stay. It makes us want to move to Florida! Our hotel, the Parc Soleil was beautiful; we had a suite, with a full kitchen, living room, bedroom, 2 flat screens and a huge bathroom. We ended up not going to any of the theme parks; we spent our days in the pools and Jacuzzis, and playing games with the Activity Staff. Oh, and we also went to the HIMSS Convention, where we got a lot of cool pens, tablets, books, bags and other freebies. And I received recognition for my scholarship at the Awards Gala and I spoke with some of the attendees about using Agile and Scrum for their projects. Agile seems to be gathering more attention lately and I hope soon that more people will know about it.

In all, it was a great week, and we arrived back in Philly last night well rested and relaxed. We are rewarding Bailey for being a good dog while we were gone by taking him to the Super Pet Expo this weekend. This is Bailey’s favorite event of the year and I’m sure he cannot wait to see all the other dogs that will be there!!
