Waterfall Blues

So let me tell you a little about my new job. It is a contract Project Manager position and I am on the New Business Activation Team for a large health insurer. This particular team implements new, cost-effective Medicaid programs for Louisiana; creating the blueprints, use cases, playbooks, and overall project plans, so that they can be reused for Texas, Nebraska and Florida. This has been arduous work as we have been collecting requirements forever now and there is no end in sight. Let’s hope we will go into the design phase soon.  I miss Agile and Scrum.  If only I could convince them to move to using Scrum!
